GEE O SUPREME'S BACK IN THE PARK JAM

Look at what our man Gee O Supreme came up with while y'all were sleepin'. We put this thing on in the Juggernaut Offices and it was like 21 shots (of espresso) to the dome! Gee O put it down "Soul School" on his latest podcast which is guaranteed to have you movin' and groovin', all without leaving the comfort of your seat. Listen in to these classic instrumentals that even the Golden Era Hip Hop artists were samplin'. You besta "GIT ON UP", and get this one. And make sure you hit Gee O back and give him a high five for blessing us with such vintage greatness. (hey...how many Hip Hop samples can you spot in THIS podcast???)
1love and 1hope.

SLUM VILLAGE & THE HIP HOP COMMUNITY MOURN THE LOSS OF BAATIN

Titus "Baatin" Glover
March 1974 - August 2009

This is getting out of hand. We've lost a lot of talented individuals this year and Baatin is no exception. He's had his ups and downs in his career, but was on the upswing before his death. The new Slum Village album is due out Sept. 22nd this year. Details are sketchy at present as to what happened, so instead of dwelling on those, lets celebrate his contribution to Hip Hop. Here is a video to help U remember. This is him (he's the one who gets offered the "con-tract" in the video) and the group he was famous for with Dwele in "Tainted". RIP Baatin.
