HOPE'S IDENTITY TO PREMIERE AT THIS YEAR'S OAKLAND FILM FESTIVAL


Since its debut last year at Oakland's Grand Lake Theater, the world has been abuzz about the perceptible drama produced by Christopher L. Ellis' HOPES IDENTITY. Now it is set to return in this year's Oakland International Film Festival on April 4th.

This film relates with the current race relation questions in this tense period of our history. See how prejudices, societal pressures and jealousy try to break apart this modern couple, inspiring HOPE to lead the way towards LOVES reconciliation. We invite you to enjoy an inspiring film by Christopher Ellis (Cover, Abloom Entertainment), as Ceezer Films debuts the production groups first feature film based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in a place considered a very liberal area in America, DeMarcus (Michael Grayson) and Cynthia (Brittany Williams), two middle school colleagues, navigate through forces which seem to want to see their happiness fail. What emerges is a deeply honest portrait of challenges and trials that IDENTIFY how this pair can work together to transcend skin color and class, teaching the true meaning of unconditional LOVE.
