HOPE'S IDENTITY - PREMIERING AT GRAND LAKE THEATER AUGUST 14TH!


Oakland, CA – Writer and Director, Christopher Ellis of Ceezer Films, presents the red carpet premiere of Hopes Identity hosted at The Grand Lake Theater on Wednesday August 14th, 2013 with doors open at 7:00 p.m. and film screening starting promptly at 8:00 p.m. A question and answer session with cast and crew will begin immediately after the showing.

This film relates with the current race relation questions in this tense period of our history. See how prejudices, societal pressures and jealousy try to break apart this modern couple, inspiring HOPE to lead the way towards LOVES reconciliation. We invite you to enjoy an inspiring film by Christopher Ellis (Cover, Abloom Entertainment), as Ceezer Films debuts the production groups first feature film based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in a place considered a very liberal area in America, DeMarcus (Michael Grayson) and Cynthia (Brittany Williams), two middle school colleagues, navigate through forces which seem to want to see their happiness fail. What emerges is a deeply honest portrait of challenges and trials that IDENTIFY how this pair can work together to transcend skin color and class, teaching the true meaning of unconditional LOVE.

Ceezer Films is a motion picture company owned and operated by film director Christopher L. Ellis. Based in Oakland, CA, its name is synonymous with visually stunning and emotionally driven cinema that you'll recognize every time you see it. The Grand Lake Theater of Oakland, CA- In 1926, the Reid Brothers' design for the Grand Lake Theater was completed for West Coast Theaters, Inc. On March 6, 1926 marked the grand opening of this Vaudeville Show and Silent Movie House. In 1928, West Coast Theaters, Inc. became part of the Fox Theater Chain. Vaudeville Shows were discontinued after talking pictures (known as 'talkies') became popular. In 1980, Allen Michaan, owner of Renaissance Rialto, Inc. purchased the ground lease, opening the theater as a single screen Movie Palace.
